A CPA, CFA and CIPM examined every month of the Strike model record, April 2020 to October 2026, and signed an opinion on it.

"We conclude that, in all material respects, the performance record of the Strike Algo Model Trading Strategy for the periods April 1, 2020 through October 9, 2026 is accurately presented."Michael W. Hultzapple, CPA, CFA, CIPM · Alpha Performance Verification Services · October 12, 2026
Every year, every losing month, the 37% drawdown. Nothing hidden. Gross of fees and costs; not the record of any client account.
Big years, flat years. Nothing hidden.
Momentum pays in bursts. 2020, 2024 and 2026 did most of the work. The system never changed its rules.
| Year | Strike | S&P 500 |

Is Strike Algo legit?
Yes. Strike Algo is software from Capital B28, a San Diego company founded on August 28, 2020. Its full model record from April 1, 2020 to October 9, 2026 was examined by Alpha Performance Verification Services, in a report signed by a CPA and CFA charterholder. Interactive Brokers lists Alpha as one of its preferred performance verification providers. Strike runs in your own Interactive Brokers account, and Capital B28 never holds client money.
More on this →Is Strike Algo a scam?
No. A scam needs your money, and Strike never touches it. It runs in an Interactive Brokers account opened in your name, every trade appears there the moment it happens, and Capital B28 cannot hold, pool or withdraw client funds. You license the software and keep 100% of what your account makes.
More on this →Who verified the record?
Alpha Performance Verification Services of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. The report is signed by Michael W. Hultzapple, CPA, CFA, CIPM, and dated October 12, 2026. They examined every month since April 2020. You can call them yourself at (804) 677-4343.
More on this →Is the record live trading or a backtest?
The record is the Strike model strategy run on six and a half years of real market data, with the same rules start to finish. The verifier's notes describe it as model back-tested results, gross of fees and transaction costs. It is not the record of any client account, and your own results will differ with when you start, fills, fees and taxes.
More on this →Is Strike GIPS-certified?
Firms, not strategies, claim GIPS compliance, so no honest strategy says "GIPS-certified." Strike's record was examined by Alpha Performance Verification Services, an independent firm that does GIPS verifications, and the verifier concluded the record is accurately presented.
More on this →Are the testimonials and screenshots Strike results?
Not all of them, and we label it. The results wall comes from the Capital B28 community across all of our programs, including our trading education. They are not Strike results unless stated, they are not typical, and they are not a promise. Strike's own numbers are the verified model record.
More on this →If it works, why would you sell it?
Because Strike is software, not a fund. You license it, it runs in your account, and you keep 100% of what your account makes. It trades among about 450 of the most liquid U.S. stocks, on exchanges that trade about $600 billion a day, deep enough that 20 names can be bought or sold any day.
More on this →Does Strike hold my money?
No. Strike runs in your own Interactive Brokers account, in your name. Capital B28 never holds, pools or withdraws client funds.
More on this →Can Strike withdraw or move my money?
No. Strike gets exactly one permission: placing trades. Withdrawal access: never. You deposit, withdraw and log in to Interactive Brokers directly, any day.
More on this →What happens if Capital B28 disappears?
Your money and positions are in your Interactive Brokers account the whole time. If anything happened to Capital B28, they would still be sitting there, in your name.
More on this →Which broker does it use?
Interactive Brokers, a FINRA member and one of the largest regulated brokers in the U.S. SIPC covers broker failure, not market losses.
More on this →What if I want out?
Pause the system or close the account any day. It's your account.
More on this →Is Capital B28 an investment adviser?
No. Capital B28 provides software. It is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer and does not manage or hold client funds.
More on this →Can I lose money?
Yes. The record has losing months, a -22.1% month in July 2026 and a deepest drawdown of 37%. If a drop like that would make you sell, Strike isn't for you. Never trade money you can't afford to lose.
More on this →What were the worst results?
Deepest drawdown 37.0%, against 25.4% for the S&P 500. Worst month: July 2026 at -22.1%. 2021 was nearly flat at +0.4% while the S&P 500 gained 27%, and the S&P also beat Strike in 2023. Every month is published.
More on this →What if I start right before a bad month?
Timing changes your result, and nobody can pick the month. Momentum pays in bursts: 2020, 2024 and 2026 did most of the work on the record. The people who do well stay through the flat stretches.
More on this →Will my results match the record?
Not exactly. The record is gross of fees and costs, and your results will differ with when you start, fills, fees and taxes. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
More on this →Why not just buy BlackRock's momentum ETF?
You can. MTUM holds about 125 stocks for broad, steady momentum exposure. Strike holds only the top 20. $100,000 from April 2020 to September 2026: Strike's verified model record about $1,055,200, MTUM about $318,300. Strike swings harder both ways.
More on this →How does it compare with hedge funds?
Strike's verified first half of 2026, +50.6%, would have ranked fifth among publicized hedge fund returns, ahead of Citadel, Millennium and Bridgewater. Its July 2026 was -22.1%.
More on this →Is it really automated?
Yes. The system picks the stocks and tells you when it rotates. Your part is about 5 to 15 minutes a month to confirm the rebalance.
More on this →Is Strike AI?
No. It's a rules-based system built on the momentum effect published in the Journal of Finance in 1993. It ranks about 450 liquid U.S. stocks every day, holds the strongest 20 and rotates once a month.
More on this →What does it trade?
U.S.-listed companies only: names like Nvidia, Netflix and GE. Long-only, no shorting. No forex, no crypto, nothing through a broker in another country.
More on this →Does it use leverage?
None in the standard strategy. 20 stocks, roughly equal weight.
More on this →Most trading bots fail. Why is this different?
Most bots find one pattern in a few years of history and break when the market changes. Strike ranks the whole market on one momentum scale every day and follows leadership as it rotates between sectors, with the same rules since 2020.
More on this →How often does it trade?
It ranks stocks every day and rotates the portfolio once a month on a fixed schedule.
More on this →How much do I need to start?
Strike works best with at least $53,000 in the account so it can hold all 20 positions properly. Below that, positions get too small and results drift from the record.
More on this →Can I try it before going live?
Yes. Paper trade first and watch Strike run live with no money at risk. Most people do.
More on this →Who is Strike not for?
Anyone who would need to borrow to fund it, money you may need in the next couple of years, and anyone looking for a guaranteed return. Nobody honest can offer one.
More on this →Couldn't I build this myself?
You could. Published 2026 figures put year one at about $258,129 for a quant developer, a dashboard build and data, with 9 to 12 months of work and zero years of track record on day one.
More on this →How hard is setup?
A specialist sets it up with you one-on-one: Interactive Brokers setup, a dashboard walkthrough and your first rebalance together.
More on this →How are taxes handled?
Strike rotates monthly, so ask a tax advisor how that applies to you. Capital B28 does not give tax advice.
More on this →Who is behind Strike?
Founder and CEO Robert Ratcliff, trading since 2013; Michael Stubbs, Director of Customer Satisfaction and a U.S. Navy veteran; and Tristan, Director of Operations. Capital B28 has worked with 500+ clients across its businesses.
More on this →Where is Strike based?
San Diego, California. Strike Algo is part of Capital B28, founded August 28, 2020.
More on this →Rules decide.
